Halt Gallery was developed by Julia Bruck and Becky Nahom in the spring of 2012 as a new alternative to a conventional art gallery to provide site-specific art exhibitions with unexpected experiences for both artist and viewer. When a search for a traditional brick and mortar space felt too confined, they created a business model to develop exhibitions specific to the sites of traditional and alternative spaces.

Halt Gallery is currently curating exhibitions in the Halt Gallery Shipping Container. The new shipping container gallery space was created in partnership with Halt Gallery and the Roosevelt Row CDC, while made possible through support from ArtPlace America. | 408 E Roosevelt St | Phoenix, AZ 85004
